Altanes Investments is an independent SEC Registered Investment
Advisor specializing in diversified large capitalization growth
investments. Altanes was founded in 2003 by Nicholas P. Jones and
Michael Obuchowski, Ph.D. We are based in the heart of New York
City's financial district. Altanes is majority-owned by its employees,
aligning our interests with those of our clients.
Altanes Investments provides portfolio management services for high
net worth individuals, foundations and corporate clients. Altanes
offers a unique family of investment strategies customized to our
clients' liquidity requirements and specific risk-return profile. All of
Altanes' clients benefit from direct access to our portfolio managers -
Nicholas Jones and Michael Obuchowski, Ph.D. We actively
communicate with our clients providing personal attention,

Altanes Investments specializes in a conservative approach to growth
equity investing, allowing our clients to meet their financial goals
while avoiding unnecessary risk. We achieve this primarily through
three different investment strategies that can be further customized to
each client's individual requirements.
Altanes Investments 50 (AI50) Strategy is a large capitalization growth
strategy focused on producing solid risk-adjusted returns over an
economic cycle. The AI50 utilizes a structured investment process
consisting of quantitative screening, bottom-up fundamental analysis
and top-down evaluation of future economic activity. The resulting 50
equally weighted holdings are characterized by a high level of
profitability and growth rates, high quality of earnings and trade at a
reasonable valuation relative to their expected earnings growth rates.
Altanes Investments' Diversified Global Strategies (DIGS) are
long-biased, diversified, large capitalization growth strategies focused
on producing consistent returns with well controlled risk. The DIGS
combine a proportion of the Altanes AI50 Strategy with a selection of
statistically diversified global Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). The
Altanes AI50 section provides solid risk-adjusted returns. The ETF
section provides global multivariate statistical diversification with
synthetic short characteristics, offering significant downside protection.
Altanes Investments' Active Portable Alpha (APA) Strategies are
long-biased, leveraged, diversified, large capitalization growth
strategies focused on producing high total return with well controlled
risk. The Active Portable Alpha Strategies combine a leveraged
Altanes AI50 Strategy with a selection of diversified global Exchange
Traded Funds (ETFs). The Altanes AI50 section is leveraged to
provide significant upside potential. The ETF section provides global
multivariate statistical diversification with synthetic short
characteristics, offering significant downside protection.
