Stock Selection Process
In this stage, which is primarily quantitative, or at least data driven, we select
about 100 stocks using our stock selection factors. We evaluate a company’s
balance sheet and their income statement to identify premier investment
opportunities. Companies which pass Altanes' Positive Research screen are
characterized by the following:
1. High Return on Equity
2. High Sustainable Growth Rate
3. Predictable earnings growth rates
4. High quality of past, present and expected future earnings per share
The process described above cannot, in and of itself be
used to determine which securities to buy or sell or when
to buy or sell them.
